Bringing a dramatic rebrand to life

With over 2,900 professionals across more than 25 locations, Moss Adams is the largest tax and consulting firm in the western United States. To achieve their primary goal of attracting prospective talent and clients, we partnered with their marketing firm to create an interactive digital experience that immerses users in their new brand vision of "Western Ethos."

Moss Adams is a dynamic, forward thinking firm that cultivates a culture of possibility for their clients and employees, but their existing branding and digital presence did not reflect this attitude. The new redesign sets them apart from the typical tax firm and positions them as a unique voice in their field.

User-focused research

With the prospective employee and client goals in mind, we conducted stakeholder and user interviews to gain insights on Moss Adam’s recruiting efforts and develop their three main persona segments – Recent Graduates, Experienced Professionals and Client Service Support. We tailored messaging tone, content, and user flows to address these targeted persona needs.

Extensive IA testing was conducted to determine the most intuitive UX & UI design solutions that could organize Moss Adam’s deep offerings across their numerous services, industries, and thought leadership content.

A clean and modern aesthetic

The visual design employs ample white space and subtle animations to balance the content density and help absorption.

A robust visual library of statistical modules and iconography were created to represent the more than 30 industries that Moss Adam currently serve.

Built with UI/UX best practices and principles such as chunking, progressive disclosure and motion to enhance usability, we developed a responsive design ensuring the site served the various user base between mobile, tablet and desktop devices.
