CVS Specialty is a pharmacy provider of medications to treat a variety of serious health conditions. CVS asked for solutions to their primary digital challenge: Provide a personalized experience to their three distinct sets of users across all channels that include first time patients, returning CVS Specialty users, and participating physicians.

A personalized patient journey

Being diagnosed with a specialty condition is a traumatic moment in users’ lives, and we were challenged to create tools and content that can assist them on this journey. Starting at the doctor’s office after diagnosis, a discreet condition card is provided to introduce the patient to the online tools available for their specific condition.

We developed an online Ask the Pharmacist portal where a dedicated CVS Specialty expert in each condition can answer user questions and provide informative videos and blog posts chronicling other users treatment stories.

Digital tools for your unique treatment plan

A personalized app for home and the doctor’s office provides a convenient hub for all the tools CVS Specialty offers users such as CareTeam contact, therapy tracking, and an interactive treatment milestone timeline.

Offline assistance

Printed brochures were also designed for the physician’s office to give users a more traditional source of information that serves as an introduction to their condition before beginning their eventual online treatment journey.
