Telemus is a frictionless interactive platform that provides a personalized synthesis of your professional data while placing a premium on ethical and secure methods. Through a combination of voice, gestures, and face recognition, Telemus pulls up the data you care about most while you're in-between your work and life states. It integrates with popular apps like Slack, LinkedIn, Bitbucket, and Dribbble to highlight your productivity, team updates, and creative production.
The industrial design and user experience were envisioned with privacy and security in mind. An integrated camera cover physically blocks the camera lens in it's default state, but intelligently awaits a user's voice activated conset to expose the camera and biometrically identify the user.
Through market research and prospective user interviews, it became clear early in the design process that privacy concerns over biometric recognition would be a driving force in our branding and messaging approach. To alleviate these concerns the brand needed to be empathetic and approachable through organic shapes, a vibrant color palette, and friendly illustrations and iconography. The logotype utilizes a rounded typeface to form a familiar facial icon with the letterforms.
Once the platform is engaged, the user interface takes a backseat to cast a spotlight on the personalized data and connections. Clear onboarding and gestures prompts seamlessly guide the user through their account creation and facial biometric training.
Extending the brand principles to the marketing website resulted in a clean and modern layout with ample white space for the platform messaging to connect with users and engaging illustrations to come to life.
